How I've grown as a learner
Over the past year at Animas, I as a learner have improved in the following ways:
- I have stopped procrastinating on assignments and attempt to get as much done in a efficient manner.
- My handwriting has improved to the point where I can easily read my own notes.
- When working in groups, I don't over-contribute ideas / suggestions and am less controlling. This allows my other peers to better get their ideas heard.
- I research topics and other information in an time efficient manner.
- My resources are neatly organized in my backpack so that I know where everything is and I don't lose assignments.
With awareness of your own individual social style, as well as others, comes the ability to have more effective communications and relationships. The[social styles] profile is based upon [my] strengths and gives [me] a chance to see the strengths of [my classmates]. With an awareness of the spectrum of social styles, [I] develop greater tolerance and understanding of other styles, and gain greater versatility in communicating (On the Edge Productions).
What is your primary style?
My primary style is Analytic
What is your secondary style?
My secondary style is Amiable
Given your social style, how do you like to be treated/interacted with?
I usually like a quieter environment to work in, with as little distractions as possible. Clear directions and focusing on one thing at a time helps me to succeed.
Given your social style, where do you sometimes feel misunderstood?
I can be a little shy in front of people or talking to strangers, so communicating with an audience is my biggest struggle.
What could others do to relate with you more effectively?
People who aren't as expressive as others will most likely relate to me effectively. I like people who get to the point faster.
